IV. Theme Description
The significance of news, communication, and information in democratic societies cannot be overstated! Communication stands as a paramount emblem of expressive freedom in the modern societal framework, embodying the public's capacity to make well-informed political choices through the exchange of information. Also, media may oversee and facilitate governmental operations, public awareness, and the exchange of ideas, these efforts will indeed contribute to deepen strengthen democracy and its resilience.

VI. Submission
From 00:00 on February 1st, 2024, to 23:59:59 on March 14th, 2024(Taipei Standard Time; the time of the online submission system for the annual conference applies).
VII.Guidelines
1. Research papers, proposals for thematic panels or workshops, and basic information for the annual conference should be submitted through the conference's online submission system. (http://tcataiwan.org/conference/member.asp).
2. Essays and text description files should be uploaded in PDF format. A submission is incompleted until all files uploaded.
3. Author information should not appear in the file of a manuscript, and an author’s name should not be used in a file name.
4. Only research papers submitted full paper within the time limit may qualify for “paper of distinction” selection.
5. Authors should not submit manuscripts that have been published previously or simultaneous under reviewing process of other conferences or journals.
6.If there is any doubt about the identification of the social group and the student group, the sponsor may require the contributor to provide proof.
7.For non-Taiwan contributors, please select the Overseas Group.
8.This year's annual meeting accepts "First Author" to submit up to three papers, and the maximum number of single sub-topics is two papers.
VIII. Important Date
The complete list of selected works will be announced on the society’s website , and the contributors will receive email notification.
