第十屆世界華文傳媒與華夏文明國際學術研討會

近年來，中國的國際地位不斷提升，在世界舞台上扮演越來越重要的角色。然而，國際話語體系仍然由西方國家掌控，中國的國際傳播能力與其國際地位相比，仍然存在不小的差距。加強國際傳播能力和對外話語體系建設，推動中華文化走向世界已成為國家發展戰略的重要組成部分。要提升中國話語體系在國際上的地位，更好地傳播中國聲音，就必須努力適應全球化與全媒體時代國際傳播的新形勢與新要求。在新媒體技術日新月異，融合媒介飛速發展的今天，如何強化中國話語體系構建，拓展對外傳播渠道，改進傳播方式，支持華文媒體做大做強參與國際傳媒市場競爭與合作，是值得全球華人學者和華文傳媒業者深入探討的重要話題。海內外華人學者和新聞傳播業界當從學理層面予以積極關注，對此問題進行理論闡釋、路徑選擇與實踐探索。

鑒於此，由中國新聞史學會、中國華中科技大學新聞與信息傳播學院和新加坡南洋理工大學黃金輝傳播與信息學院聯合主辦，廣東外語外貿大學新聞與傳播學院、羊城晚報報業集團聯合承辦的“第十屆世界華文傳媒與華夏文明國際學術研討會”定於2017年11月在中國廣州舉行，著重圍繞中國話語體系與華文傳播等重大現實問題開展學術研討與交流。世界華文傳媒與華夏文明國際學術研討會自1995年創始，已先后在中國大陸、港台及新加坡等地舉辦了九屆，得到了來自海內外諸多媒體和新聞傳播院系師生的大力支持，產生了較為廣泛的影響。在此，我們誠邀海內外新聞傳播學者、傳媒業界精英共襄盛舉，圍繞相關議題展開學術交流，分享研究心得。現就會議相關事宜通知如下：

一、會議主題

本屆會議主題為“中國話語體系與華文傳播——華夏文明國際傳播的路徑選擇”。圍繞該主題，並結合相關領域，會議擬展開對以下（但不限於）具體問題的討論：

1、中國話語體系的理論基礎與內涵

2、中華文化對外傳播的歷史、理論與現實

3、海外華文媒體與中國話語體系構建

4、新媒體技術與中國話語體系構建

5、文化創意產業與中國話語體系構建

6、中國話語體系與中國國際傳播能力建設

7、“一帶一路”發展戰略與國際輿論態勢

8、城市傳播與國家形象建構

9、媒介制度、倫理、法規與中國話語體系構建

10、華夏文明傳播的歷史與現實

11、華文傳播與中華民族文化認同

12、其他有關華文傳播與華夏文明傳播的議題

本次會議還將設博士生專場論壇，並邀請境內外新聞傳播學術期刊主編與博士生、博士后研究人員交流，歡迎來自海內外的博士研究生、博士后研究人員積極參與。

六、論文提交程序、截止日期及論文出版

1.2017年6月30日前，提交參會回執﹔

2.2017年7月10日前，提交論文摘要﹔

3.2017年8月10日前，提交論文全文﹔

4.2017年8月30日前，公布匿名評審通過的論文名單，發出正式邀請函。

會議結束后，組委會將結集出版會議論文集。

七、論文寫作要求

1.論文字數應控制在10000字左右。

2.論文以中英文撰寫均可，論文會議發布以中文進行。

3.論文應使用word文檔格式。

Call for Papers

 

 

With its rapid rise of international status, China is playing an ever-increasing role globally.  However, China’s capacity for international communication is highly incompatible with its international status due to the Western dominance in global discourse. It has become an important part of China’s development strategy to strengthen its international communication capability, build its international discourse system and promote the Chinese culture globally. To upgrade the international status of its discourse system and raise its voice, China has to adjust itself to meet new challenges.  In such a context, Chinese scholars and media practitioners are obligated to explore means to expand China’s international communication channels and build its discourse system.

It is against such a backdrop, the 10^th International Conference on Chinese Media and Chinese Civilization will be held in Guangzhou, China in Nov 2017. The conference is jointly organized by the Association of Journalism History (China), the School of Journalism and Communication of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (China), and the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information of Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), and co-hosted by the Journalism and Communication School of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and Yangcheng Evening News Group. Since its launch in 1995, the International Conference on Chinese Media and Chinese Civilization has been held nine times in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore, receiving wide support from communication scholars and students in and outside of China. We hereby invite communication scholars and media professionals from China and abroad to attend the 10^th conference to share your research findings and views regarding the theme of this conference. 

Conference Theme

The conference focuses on the theme: China’s Discourse System and Chinese Communication - Path to the International Promotion of Chinese Civilization.  Submissions should be related but not limited to the following topics:

1.     Theories and conceptualization of China’s discourse system

2.     History, theory and reality of the international communication of Chinese culture

3.     Overseas Chinese media and discourse system

4.     Social media and the Chinese discourse system

5.     Cultural industry and the Chinese discourse system

6.     The Chinese discourse system and China’s international communication

7.     The “One Belt, One Road” strategy and international responses

8.     Urban communication and national image

9.     Media system, ethics and laws and the Chinese discourse system

10.  History and reality of the communication of Chinese civilization

11.  Chinese communication and Chinese identity

12.  Any other topics related to Chinese communication and civilization

Submission of Full Papers

 

 

1. The length of full papers must not exceed 10,000 Chinese characters. 
2. The paper can be written in either Chinese or English. Conference presentation should be in Chinese.
3. All papers should be in Word format.
