The Institute of Communication Studies (ICS) at NYCU invites applicants for a full- time position (Assistant Professor or higher). The successful candidate will be with the expected start date of appointment on August 1, 2025, or February 1, 2026. Applicants should possess expertise in at least one of the following areas:

 

 

1. 策略傳播：包括行銷科技（MarTech）、整合行銷傳播、廣告及公關等；

 

2. 運算傳播：包括大數據分析、機器學習、社會網絡分析、文字探勘等；

 

3. 其它以新媒體為核心之傳播領域：包括風險傳播、健康傳播及組織傳播。

 

1. Strategic Communication – including marketing technology (MarTech), integrated marketing communication, advertising, and public relations.

 

2. Computational Communication – including big data analytics, machine learning, social network analysis, and text mining.

 

3. Other Communication-Related Fields – with an emphasis on new media technologies, such as risk communication, health communication, and organizational communication.

 

 

資格條件：

Qualifications:

 

1. 具有教育部認可之國內、外學校傳播學或其他相關領域博士學位。

 

2. 具備英文授課之能力（新進教師每一學年至少必須開授一門英語課程）。

 

1. Ph.D. in communication or other related disciplines that is awarded by any university recognized by the Ministry of Education (Taiwan, ROC).

 

2. Teach courses in English (at least one English-medium course is required per academic year for new faculty members).

5. 研究著作：歷年著作目錄與具代表性之著作2-5件，並說明前述著作之學術貢獻。

5. Research Publications: A list of all publications, along with 2-5 representative publications in full text. Please briefly illustrate the academic contribution of these representative publications.

 

6. 研究自述：目前研究方向、未來研究之中、長程計畫，以及和本所研究方向之關聯。

6. Research statement that illustrates your current research direction, future research plans, and their compatibility with the research goals of the ICS.

 

7. 擬開授課程（至少 2 門）之中英文授課大綱：

（1）指定課程：請從以下三門「新媒體與行銷傳播」領域之既有課程中，擇一撰擬：「傳播媒體、品牌與行銷」，「公共關係與危機傳播」；或「整合行銷傳播專題」；

（2）自定課程：請結合自身專長，新規劃一門適合於本所「新媒體與行銷傳播」領域開設之課程。

上述授課大綱內容應包含課程目標說明、每週主題，及預計使用之參考資料，並請說明所擬課程之開創性，及與本所課程規劃之關聯性。

7. At least 2 course syllabi in both Chinese and English, including the following:

(1) Designated Course: Select one of the three existing courses in the New Media and Marketing Communication track and draft a syllabus: “Communication Media, Branding & Marketing;” “Public Relations & Crisis Communication;” or “Seminar in Integrated Marketing Communication.”

(2) Self-Designed Course: Develop a new course relevant to the New Media and Marketing Communication track, based on your area of expertise.

The syllabi should clearly outline the course objectives, weekly topics, and reference materials. Additionally, please elaborate on the courses’ originality and their alignment with the ICS’s curriculum framework.

 

8. 推薦人名單 2-3 名(同時提供推薦人職位及通訊資訊)，若接獲通知進第二階段面試再提供推薦信 2-3 封。
