● 教學與研究專長需求:應聘者需具備下列專長中至少兩項,並能開設相關課程,與指導學生論文或統整相關計畫:
1. 新媒體與數位內容創意與創作:熟悉數位內容設計、新媒體影音創意發想、製作與實踐
2. 擴增實境(XR)、元宇宙與沉浸式媒體:具備虛擬實境(VR)、擴增實境(AR)、混合實境(MR)及元宇宙相關技術與應用經驗,幫助學生探索沉浸式媒體之發展與創新
3. 自媒體與社群媒體影音行銷:熟悉自媒體平台運作、社群媒體策略規劃、影音行銷與數據分析,並能結合實務案例進行教學
4. 生成式人工智慧(Gen AI)與互動科技設計:具備生成式AI技術應用、互動科技設計、使用者體驗(UX)與介面設計(UI)等相關經驗,能引導學生將科技應用於創意實踐
5. 國際傳播與數位新聞
● 工作內容:
1. 開設符合以上專長之相關課程,並指導學生進行專題研究、論文與創作
2. 協助推動學程國際交流、學生國內外實習及產學合作
3. 參與文化部計畫之企劃、執行與報告撰寫

Master’s Program in Global Communication and Innovation Technology (GCIT)
Position Opening: One Contracted Assistant Professor
The GCIT Master’s Program is seeking to recruit one Contracted Assistant Professor with expertise in International Communication Practices or New Media and Digital Content Creation, including but not limited to Extended Reality (XR) and Immersive Media, Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) and Interactive Technology Design, Self-Media and Social Media Video Marketing, or International Digital Journalism.
The teaching load is 9 credits per semester, and the appointee is also expected to assist in program-related administrative duties such as internships, industry-academia collaboration, international exchange, and Ministry of Education Republic of China (MOE) project reporting.
Position Title: Contracted Assistant Professor
Number of Openings: One (1)
Qualifications:
• Ph.D. degree from a domestic or international institution recognized by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan
• Ability to conduct courses in English
• Preference will be given to candidates with practical experience in new media industries or international communication
• Research experience in relevant fields
• Administrative experience in higher education institutions is a plus
● Appointment Period: Starting August 1, 2025 (Renewable on an annual basis)
● Salary: In accordance with the salary standards for public university faculty in Taiwan
● Required Teaching and Research Expertise:
Applicants should have expertise in at least two of the following areas and be capable of offering related courses and advising students on theses or projects:
1. New Media and Digital Content Creation: Proficiency in digital content design and creative production of new media audiovisual materials
2. Extended Reality (XR), Metaverse, and Immersive Media: Experience with VR, AR, MR, or metaverse-related technologies and applications, to guide students in exploring innovative immersive media
3. Self-Media and Social Media Video Marketing: Familiarity with self-media platforms, social media strategy, video marketing, and data analytics, with the ability to integrate real-world case studies into teaching
4. Generative AI and Interactive Technology Design: Experience in Gen AI applications, interactive technology design, UX/UI design, and guiding students in applying technology to creative practices
5. International Communication and Digital Journalism
Job Responsibilities:
• Teach courses related to the areas of expertise listed above and supervise students’ projects, theses, and creative works
• Support the program's international exchange initiatives, student internships, and industry-academia collaboration
• Participate in the planning, implementation, and reporting of Ministry of Culture projects
• Assist with other program administrative tasks
