本文從台灣報業市場環境及個人職場工作經驗出發,聚焦於消費新聞的產製與變遷過程,並選定《自由時報》週末生活版作為研究個案。本文採用質性研究的深度訪談法,研究結果發現,消費新聞變遷是報業市場競爭策略之一,本土報紙《自由時報》藉此和外來報紙《蘋果日報》爭奪年輕的讀者族群,避免被市場淘汰的命運。本文以Shoemaker & Reese(1996)的新聞產製階層模式為基礎,剖析《自由時報》週末生活版的消費新聞產製方式。此外,本文特別關注消費新聞產製的地方面向,並探討地方消費記者的角色及其所遭遇的限制與難題。
英文摘要
This study proceeded from the environment of Taiwan newspaper market and personal career experience, focused on the producing and changing courses of newspaper consumption news, and chose the Liberty Times Weekender as a case. This study applied deep interview of qualitative research, the finding revealed that the changes of the consumption news were one of the competition strategies in newspaper market. Liberty Times used it to snatch young readers group with Apple Daily and avoid being eliminated by market. This Study was based on the hierarchy of influences model on P. J. Shoemaker and S. D. Reese (1996) to analyze the production modes in consumption news of the Liberty Times Weekender. Moreover, this study paid close attention to local production dimensions in consumption news specifically, and explored the roles of local consumptions journalists with the limits and problems.
