With a high degree of concentration of ownership, Taiwanese cable television industry has been hugely occupied by the foreign investment since 2005. Therefore, over 62% of cable television industry is governed by the foreign investment. And the shift of ownerships also has a certain amount influence over the industry. The study applies entry mode and demonstrating influential factors of selecting market entry modes to analyze the conduct of the foreign investment and the regulations of the cable television law for foreign investment. The study finds out that the entry mode of the foreign investment is mostly to buy the shares in a way of private equity fund, which leads to a new change on the cable television industry. As for the regulations, it should make the holders of foreign investment know to the public and also the conduct of the private equity fund.
