台灣媒體的霸權意識形態─以開放大型重型機車快速道路權與新加坡、上海舉辦F1方程式賽車大賽新聞事件為例
The hegemonic ideology in the media-Taking the News Event of “Opening Up The Expressway for Huge Heavy Motorbikes” and “F1 games in Singapore and Shanghai” as Examples
The media process the same type of news events of “racing” with different ways. This study analyzes the narrative structures of the news event “Opening up the expressway for huge heavy motorbikes” and “F1 games in Singapore and Shanghai”. The study finds that the media give “huge heavy motorbikes” event a negative image connected with crime, noise, and public order, while giving “F1 games” a positive image with high techs and plenty of economic investments towards state development. And the media connect the “huge heavy motorbikes” event with negative image because of its uncertainty of regulating and social stability, while giving “F1 games” a positive image of under control, meeting the ruling class’s interests of state’s politic and economic development.
