本文除了對語藝批評的類型批評進行概述，並透過邏輯方法中的演繹、歸納與提設法的釐清，對於一般類型批評實踐所謂的歸納取向及演繹取向的模糊性提出檢討；其後，除了在C. S. Peirce的架構下，針對語藝批評在研究上的人文取向，建議重新定義邏輯方法的運用，且以提設法為中心，提出方法論上的說明及建議，以達到操作說明上的明晰性，與操作方法上的明確性。
英文摘要
This paper not only briefs the generic criticism, but also clarifies the employment of deductive reasoning, inductive reasoning, and abductive reasoning in it. It is proposed that in order to remove the ambivalence causing misunderstanding and difficulties in methodological communication and practices, these terms should be redefined under the Peircean spirit, especially emphasizing the application of abductive reasoning to meet the humane orientation of the rhetorical criticism. A refined operational route is raised as the conclusion.
