“Check-Ins” is one of the main functions of the social network—Facebook; thus, the study is based on spectacle and narcissism of the diffused audiences, through intensive interview to explore the motivation and behavior of the “Check-Ins”users. The study discovers that the usage for the users is the merit for self-performance. Moreover, users would shape their self-image through check-ins. Also, the study categorizes such behavior into two types, one represents "idea self ", another one is "actual self ". Finally, the study indicates that maintaining “self-image”is the crucial point affecting the content of check-ins.
