本文旨在透過直播棒球比賽的敘事分析，藉以結合新聞傳播與敘事理論。敘事轉向風潮所及，新聞傳播結合敘事理論方興未艾，但對於直播運動賽事，尚付闕如，本文嘗試從敘事理論視角，探討現場直播美國大聯盟棒球比賽，可能延伸的新聞傳播與敘事理論的共同觀照議題。

本文發現：（一）現場直播棒賽既是搬演（misesis），同時也是敘述（diegesis）；（二）棒球賽事充分再現敘事理論一個故事內容，可以各種不同形式表達的觀點；（三）球賽係由兩隊 競技，任一球星既是該隊英雄，卻也是敵隊球迷眼中的大壞蛋；（四）現場直播有如紀錄片，完全依照時間序列進行，與敘事美學時間交錯不同，卻絲毫不減球賽精彩故事情節的開展；（五）現場和電視機前觀看直播的觀眾，乃是傳統敘事理論從未觸及的敘述對象。

所以透過現場直播棒球賽的敘事分析，既可擴大既有敘事學的研究範疇，也可深化新聞傳播與敘事理論的結合。

The major purpose of the paper is trying to integrate narrative theories with journalism into the live broadcast of Major League of Baseball games.

While a lot of research papers contributing to the collaboration of these two disciplines have been done under the impact of narrative turn, live broadcasting of sports, such as baseball games, is nevertheless still lack of attention. The paper finds that live broadcasting of baseball is a typical case of combination of misesis and diegesis simultaneously, and a baseball game could be lively presented in a lot different ways of discourses. Due to each team has so many fans, any baseball star could be a hero to his team, and a villain to the competitive team at the same time. Though live broadcast of baseball game is shown chronologically, quite different from traditional narrative works, it's still so attractive to audience, in terms of its stories and discourses. Finally, the coverage of live broadcast of baseball games cares very much about the audience on the spot and at home, who have not been discussed yet in narratology. Thus, the paper shows the benefit of integration of narrative theories with journalism through the view of live broadcast of baseball games
