Media convergence makes more choices of films than before. This study discussed
what are the emotional motivations and enjoyment in re-watching films which
have been watched from mood management theory. 214 valid questionnaires
were collected by online survey. The results showed re-watching positive film has
positive impact on enjoyment and the frequency of re-watching. Though showing
self-ability has no significant effect on the frequency of re-watching, under the
mediating effect of it, the variable has positive impact on enjoyment.
