台灣以快速的步伐邁入高齡化社會,建立良好的社會交流與生活關係, 成為高齡長者獲得「成功老化」關鍵要素之一。據此,本文以擴增實境遊戲 Pokémon GO 為研究場域,透過超過半年的田野觀察、深度訪談與焦點團體 訪談等複合式的研究方法,探討寶可夢樂齡玩家的社會互動關係。
研究結果發現,有二。第一,擴增實境遊戲讓樂齡玩家結合運動與遊 戲,每日固定時間、地點與朋友進行遊戲,成為日常生活儀式。第二,遊戲 模糊了年齡帶來的世代區隔與階級界限,不只鞏固長者原有人際網絡,亦可 拓展長者發展新人際關係的可能。

英文摘要
Taiwan is an Aging society nowadays. “How to build good social interactions
and interpersonal relationship with others” becomes one of the key elements for older adults to reach “successful aging” status.
Accordingly, this paper chose the augmented reality mobile game “Pokémon
GO” as research object, aiming on exploring the social interactions between Pokémon GO’s older adult players. The qualitative research methods were adopted by depth interview, focus group, and field research for over six months.
The results revealed that: First, augmented reality game made older adult players combine exercising and game, playing game with their friends at the same place and same time regularly. Second, game blurred the generation gap and social class boundary. Games could not only consolidate older adults’ original interpersonal relationship, but also help the older adults to broaden new interpersonal ties with others.
