為探討國內傳播學術領域中有關客家的研究在傳播領域的發展趨勢、關 注焦點、研究方法及其代表意義。研究結果發現,研究者集中在少部分學者 和學校,二十多年來主題趨勢大致和傳播領域的主流焦點相近,但熱門議題 如傳播與科技卻少有客家議題。客家在認同、傳播權與多元文化主義上仍有 待傳播學者的投入;建議未來應將廣義客家閱聽人也納入研究範圍;而傳播 教育應加強科技與公民參與思維的培養,以從根本提升研究者對非主流議題 的關注。

The purpose of this study is to explore Hakka studies in communication research in Taiwan. We trace the development of research topics since the first article to 2018 by evaluating 72 articles from 6 popular communication research journals, conference of the Chinese Communication Society and theses and dissertations in Taiwan. The results showed that there are still many important and special topics in Hakka and communication that need to be discussed and explored by communication scholars, especially about identity, communication rights and multiculturalism. Communication education should pay more attention on the thinking of technology and citizen participation to improve researchers' interest in research on non-mainstream topics.
