Dating app has surprisingly become the most easily deleted and re-installed app in
software download platforms (John Koetsier, 2018). In view of this phenomenon has
not been confirmed by domestic and foreign studies, this study intends to discuss this
behavior and define it as a “behavior of frequently re-installing”. The exploration are
based on the theory of post-acceptance model of IS continuance. At the same time, the
attachment style and addictive behaviors are included in the discussion as a part of
possible causes.
The result found that the "behavior of frequently re-installing" is positively related
to the user's "perceived usefulness" of the dating apps; and the "confirmation" coming
along after the use can predict the "behavior of frequently re-installing" through the
"perceived usefulness" intermediary. In terms of personality, people with the
“preoccupied attachment” are more likely to have the "behavior of frequently re-
installing". The "problematic use of dating apps" also significantly predicts "behavior
of frequently re-installing".
