新型冠狀病毒肺炎於 2020 年重創全球。新聞報導為民眾獲得疫情相關資訊 的主要來源,因此,本研究以路徑分析,探討閱聽人的媒介注意、涉入度、感 知知識,是否能預測疫情相關的媒體訊息對第三人效果認知與行為影響。本研 究以線上調查法回收 265 份有效樣本,結果顯示新冠狀病毒肺炎相關資訊對閱 聽人產生第一人效果,其所產生的認知差異可預測後續防護行為。媒介注意、 涉入度負向預測第三人效果認知;感知知識愈高則正向預測第三人效果認知。
The Covid-19 pandemic has dramatically impacted the world since the end of 2019. This study clarified the relationship between pandemic news and the third- person effect by path analysis. We observe how news attention, involvement and perceive knowledge will affect audiences to perceive Covid-19 information. Furthermore, we also take the relationship between the third-person effect, searching for more disease-related information and taking protective action into account. The results show that respondents tend to think the influence of pandemic news on themselves is greater than others. Furthermore, attention and involvement were negatively related to the third-person perception. On the other hand, perceived knowledge positively predicts third-person perception.
