The podcast fever: The investigation of the behavioral intention on podcast production
ABSTRACT
Podcasts have been around for quite a while, but it's only in recent years, especially in 2020, the
industry has begun to flourish in Taiwan. This study uses the concepts from the extension of the
technology acceptance model(TAM2) and adds four variables which are perceived enjoyment,
expected associations, expected rewards and altruism, trying to investigate factors that may
influence user’s behavioral intention of podcast production. According to the results, the users
showed greater interest in perceived enjoyment. However, ease of use and the expected rewards
would not affect the user’s intention to use.
