本文從分析資訊傳播的全球化趨勢給大陸傳媒業帶來的機遇和挑戰入手，採用描述性和推測性統計方法對大陸32家省市機關報和中央機關報2000年美國總統大選國際報導的規模。信息量、發稿字數、報導方式和內容等，進行定量分析，透視資訊傳播全球化對大陸傳媒國際傳播的影響。

The globalized information spreading has brought great opportunities and challenges to the worldwide media. This thesis analysed how the global information spreading influences the media in the mainland of China. Focusing on the reportings about the U.S. campaign 2000, the author selected samples from 32 official newspapers of central and local government of the mainland, and used the descriptive analysis and inferential analysis methods to examine the total wordage and manuscripts, the pattern and content in the reports of these newspaper, which intended to reveal the influence to the international communication and the changes of the international report of the mainland media.
