This paper presents the logic of the processes behind the fashion media contents in Taiwanese media. We try to apply classic sociology theories to inquire the way that the foundation of "fashion" circulation in our society. We combine the theories that have the explained the concepts fashion processes in the past century, especially Georg Simmel ’s "trickle down theory". These concepts revealed how the fashion represents the ideology of the upper classes and therefore influenced the contents in the media, especially which cover fashion issues. Thus we construct a overall concept of how does "fashion" formed and how it effect the way we wear and the why we consume fashion goods, and the way upper classes remain their higher position with means of defining fashions.
