本研究以台灣媒體呈現時尚節目背後的運作邏輯為基礎,探詢古典社會學中對於時尚循環概念的形成方式,並整合相關理論修正,整合對現今社會組成具有解釋能力的理論概念。並藉此概念反思媒介呈現的時尚節目運作,背後的意識形態以及社會結構的運作方式。本文討論的時尚媒體呈現有三,雜誌、報紙版面以及電視時尚節目,研究結果顯示,時尚循環不但依然存在,還因媒體的介紹時尚產品、介紹如何用低價商品模擬高價時尚品牌,因而加速時尚循環的運作,並造成下層結構的接收者難以逃脫時尚循環的箝制。
英文摘要
This paper presents the logic of the processes behind the fashion media contents in Taiwanese media. We try to apply classic sociology theories to inquire the way that the foundation of "fashion" circulation in our society. We combine the theories that have the explained the concepts fashion processes in the past century, especially Georg Simmel ’s "trickle down theory". These concepts revealed how the fashion represents the ideology of the upper classes and therefore influenced the contents in the media, especially which cover fashion issues. Thus we construct a overall concept of how does "fashion" formed and how it effect the way we wear and the why we consume fashion goods, and the way upper classes remain their higher position with means of defining fashions.
