Taking Stephenson ’s view on communication pleasure experience, the study examines the Internet user’s communication pleasure experience derived from the use of Cyberporns. By a network survey providing a web-based questionnaire, the study collects over 170 volunteer samples, and then analyzes the relations among the Cyberporn users’ motivation, pleasure experience, Cyberporn use frequency, their personalities, and the environmental factors such as time and locations.
The results of the study show: (1) The World Wide Web and Bulletin Board System are the most popular ways to get the Internet porn services, and the Cyberporns are often showed with pictures and animations. (2) Curiosity is the main reason that most Cyberporn users try to get the porn information on the Internet. (3) The higher frequency the user gets Cyberporns, the more communication pleasure the user may get. (4) Among all demographic factors, it ’s only gender that has influences on users ’ pleasure experience. (5) The environmental factors can also influence the users ’ pleasure experience.
