服飾在社會中,衍然已成為人與人之間的開場白一般,彼此還未開口說話,卻已經給人留下初次印象了。而且,在資本主義經濟制度下,資本家挾帶著服飾創造了許\多商機,再把『流行』的訊息戲劇性地嵌入服飾裏,就像一部流行的製造機器一樣,帶領消費者走向瞬息萬變的流行服飾領域之中,鼓勵每個人都應為了擁有走在時代尖端、深具流行意味的服飾而掏腰包。

這個令人眼花瞭亂的服飾世界中,『流行』是它唯一的指標,變化多端的『流行』款式、質料、顏色…,它到底是如何產生的?市面上又不斷出現專門介紹流行裝扮、流行走向的雜誌,為何會如此?

為了進一步瞭解紛亂的流行服飾動向,本研究將從雜誌中的語詞描述、流行與服飾的關係、符號消費等處著手,佐以符號學的分析策略,對流行服飾雜誌中所介紹的流行服飾作一拆解,從紛亂的現象中得知意義是如何來。
英文摘要
The clothes in societies have certainly become the first impression among people before starting speaking to others. Furthermore, in the capitalism of economy, the capitalists have made much money by selling the clothes. The capitalism is like a manufacturing machine which embed the message of "Fashion" into the clothes, bringing consumers into the changeable world of the fashionable dress. The capitalists also encourage consumers to spend the money for the top of the fashionable dress.

In the dazzle world of the fashionable dress, the word "Fashion" is its unique indication. How do these changeable styles、qualities and colors in "Fashionable dress" exert? In the market, many professional magazines appear constantly, which communicate fashionable messages.

For more understanding with the trend of fashionable dress, this research will begin to discuss with the words in the magazines、the relation between fashion and clothes, and symbol consuming . By using the method of semiology, we want to know how the meaning of the fashionable dress is produced.
