網際網路的興起,使得傳統媒體經營面臨極為嚴厲的考驗,於是紛紛跨足網路媒體以尋求生機。但是這些以商業化為出發點的網路媒體,他們是透過什麼方法加以瞭解目標閱\聽人及其閱\讀率;傳統媒體上的閱\聽人與閱\讀率調查方法,對網路媒體閱\聽人與閱\讀率研究,又有什麼樣的影響。以上兩個面向將是本文的論述重點。
英文摘要
The rise of the Internet has challenged the operation and management of the more traditional media. In response, they take part in the new Internet looking for chances of survival. The participants are basically commercially-oriented. It is interesting to see how they have tried to understand the profile of their audience and the ways of conducting readership studies. Moreover, this paper deals with how, methodologically, surveys on the Internet is influenced by the traditional readership survey methods.
