台灣因為法規規範與市場機制運作的影響,各地區的有線電視系統,出現一區一家與一區多家不同競爭程度的情形。本研究旨在了解不同的競爭程度,是否造成有線電視消費者滿意度有所差別?系統業者對於消費者意見的重視程度是否也有所差異?

研究結果發現,在一區多家地區,消費者有較高的滿意度,業者也較重視消費者的意見;而在一區一家地區,消費者滿意度較低,業者方面則對消費者意見,採消極被動的態度。
英文摘要
Under the inference of government ruling and market power, cable systems in Taiwan are competing in two kind of competitive environment. One is that there is only one system operator in one area. Another is that there are over two system operators in the same competitive area. This paper is to analyze the satisfaction of cable subscribers in different competitive areas.

The results show that the satisfaction of cable subscribers in the area there are more than two system operators is higher than in the area there is only one system operator. Also, the system operator in higher competitive area think highly of the subscribers ’ opinion.
