The study of organizational culture is a recent trend inorganizational studies in that scholars find that the variable of culture exerts a great deal of influence on every aspect of an organization. Decision making is a crucial aspect of the operation of an organization, therefore, it is reasonable to expect that the culture of an organization has very much to do with the decision-making behaviors of the organization. This study predicts that the behaviors of decision making will vary from one organizational culture to another. A questionnaire survey was conducted to 30 media organizations for the examination of the prediction of the study.
150 valid questionnaires were collected for the study. The data analysis showed that the culture of an organization did have very much influence on the decision-making behaviors of an organization. More findings were discussed in the paper.
