台灣媒體的反美再現：兩大報新聞論述之分析

本文是拋磚引玉的初步嘗試，試圖勾勒台灣主流媒體的反美再現狀況。本文認為，進行本地媒體的反美再現的分析本身，對於向來親美與極度依附美國的台灣來說，是有意義的，有助於我們重新思索台灣自身對於現代性甚至是主體性的想像。過去一向在反美運動及論述上處於低度發展狀態的台灣，近幾年在主流媒體上也似乎開始有較多關於反美的再現(media representations of anti-Americanism)。本文嘗試理解這個已經隱然成形的反美全球化現象的在地歷史脈絡，並且對此現象的本地媒體再現及相關論述進行分析。
英文摘要
Anti-Americanism has gathered momentum around the globe against the background of the U.S. becoming a single, global superpower in the world. The present paper raises the question of what extent to which the globalization of anti-Americanism has occurred in Taiwan, where has long been known for its pro-American stance. The focus of this paper is placed on the media representations of anti-Americanism in Taiwan by examining Taiwan ’s two major dailies. Implications for broader agenda will be discussed.
