This article attempts to find out the motivation of how the audience choosing "nonfiction entertainment" (genre) channel, exploring their reception, and analysis their self-interpretation about programs. Through depth-interviewing method, we found that using "Television program theory" for explaining the audience ’s choice is applicable. Besides, we noticed that watching those programs influenced the audiences ’ daily life. Most of all, each audience had different viewing interpretation, and generally from analyzing their expression we discovered that "preferred reading" indeed affected the audience.
