Nowadays, in a culturally-globalized world, members within any communities can receive cultures at a great distance by all kinds of media. Therefore, community media, traditionally viewed as part of the forms of local culture, may become one of the choices for members in a community when they face different ones. In the above process, how can community media, when facing numerous influences from different cultures, exert the influence to form community conscious and community identity? This case study takes "Yue Guang Shan" community newspaper in Mei Nong as case to analyze the question, using Robertson ’s Cultural Globalization as analyzing structure, and attempts to understand how the community newspaper faces the issue in the multi-cultural Mei Nong.
